Job Overview

Schedule: Nights 7pm - 7am 12-hour shifts (Must be available to work every other weekend on Saturday & Sunday) 

Job location: Towson, Maryland

Job type: In-person

The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 22-bed unit offering psychiatric care for the treatment of major mental illnesses where the average length of stay is 8 days.  

As a Mental Health Worker you will:

  • Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.
  • Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.
  • Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED. 
  • Pursuit of Human Services or Psychiatric related degree preferred.
  • Past direct care or related experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
  • All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.

    The pay range for this position is $19.36 minimum to $28.70 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
